Bridal Preview

Professional stylist showcasing elegant hairstyles and makeup artistry for women

Bridal Preview Services

A bridal preview (also known as a trial) is a consultation and service appointment where brides collaborate with their hair and makeup artist to design and test their desired wedding-day look.

This session allows time for adjustments and ensures the chosen style complements the bride’s features, dress, and wedding theme.

Please Note: The bridal preview is priced separately and not included in the standard bridal wedding-day services. Wedding-day bridal services are priced higher due to the additional preparation, time, and specialized attention required.

FAQs

These preview sessions are meant to give you confidence and clarity. Below, we’ve answered the most common questions brides ask when planning their trial — so you know exactly what to expect and how to prepare.

Can I try more than one hairstyle during my preview?

Yes — If time allows, we can explore slight variations of your chosen look. This helps you compare styles side by side, decide between soft or bold options, and find what feels most like you.

Will I leave the preview with my look fully applied and styled?

Once you approve the hairstyle and makeup, we take photos and videos for you to keep and share if you wish. However, we usually recommend brides keep their final look a surprise. We suggest leaving the trial with a beautiful makeup application and a soft, alternative hairstyle rather than the exact final look.

Can I bring inspiration photos or examples?

Yes, we encourage reference images. They help communicate your vision clearly and allow us to suggest what works best for your features, dress, and overall aesthetic.

Should I wear anything specific to my preview appointment?

We recommend a top with a similar neckline or color to your dress. It helps visualize contrast, undertones, and how your look will photograph. It’s optional, but often very helpful.

Will you take photos during the session?

Yes — We document your look so it's easy to reference later.
Photos help guide final adjustments, are shared with you for planning, and assist your stylist on the wedding day.

Can I bring someone with me for feedback?

Yes, but we recommend keeping your guest list small for a calm, focused experience. A second perspective can be helpful, but the session is designed around your comfort and clarity.

Is a preview required for bridal services?

It’s not required, but highly recommended for peace of mind. Previews help reduce stress, avoid last-minute surprises, and ensure you feel confident and comfortable with your final look. Most brides tell us it was one of the best decisions they made.
